Cloud Foundation · Governed cloud foundations
Cloud Landing Zone Accelerator.
Implement a governed cloud foundation for the agreed provider and scope, with clear identity, policy, network and operational boundaries, delivered as reviewable infrastructure code.
- Indicative timeline
- 2–4 weeks for a bounded foundation, subject to target cloud environment access, network dependencies, approvals and the number of environments included.
- Investment approach
- Scoped and quoted after confirming the organization, account, project or subscription boundaries, network design, governance needs and deployment environments. Cloud consumption and licenses are separate.
01 · Business challenge
The problem this package addresses
When every workload team creates its own accounts, projects or subscriptions, network rules and deployment conventions, governance becomes difficult to apply consistently. This accelerator establishes a reusable baseline for the agreed cloud scope, so teams can onboard workloads through known controls.
02 · What you get
Defined technical outcomes
- An agreed landing-zone design with organization, account, project or subscription boundaries documented.
- Provider-specific IaC definitions for the agreed foundation components (such as Terraform, Bicep or CloudFormation), stored in your repository.
- A deployment workflow with review and validation steps for the implemented infrastructure.
- Configuration notes, validation evidence and operational handover material for your team.
03 · Scope of work
Work included
- Confirm landing-zone goals, cloud organization constraints, workload types, environment boundaries and ownership.
- Design and implement the agreed cloud account, project or subscription structure and governance baseline.
- Implement selected role assignments, network connectivity and DNS patterns, logging and monitoring integration.
- Create reusable IaC and a controlled deployment workflow for the agreed baseline; validate deployment in the agreed environment.
04 · Acceptance
How completion is reviewed
Final acceptance checks are agreed in the statement of work before implementation. Typical checks include:
- The agreed baseline deploys through the documented infrastructure workflow in the target environment.
- Included policies, access boundaries and connectivity are checked against the acceptance conditions agreed at kickoff.
- Code, configuration notes, known limitations and operating steps are handed over to the named owners.
05 · Delivery process
From discovery to handover
- DiscoverConfirm the target users, workload boundary, dependencies and acceptance conditions.
- DesignAgree the architecture decisions, delivery sequence, access model and implementation plan.
- Build and validateImplement the scoped work in the client environment and review it against the agreed checks.
- Hand overTransfer code, documentation, runbooks and ownership to the client team.
