Cloud Foundation · Architecture and decision support

Cloud Architecture Review.

Get an evidence-based view of your cloud architecture, the risks that matter most, and a practical sequence for addressing them.

Indicative timeline
3–5 business days after access, evidence and review participants are ready. This is an initial planning window; final timing depends on the agreed environment and review boundary.
Investment approach
Quoted after confirming the cloud accounts, projects, subscriptions and workloads in scope, evidence availability and review depth. Cloud consumption and third-party services are not part of the professional-services fee.

01 · Business challenge

The problem this package addresses

Cloud environments often grow through individual projects. Account, project and subscription boundaries, network patterns, identity controls, policy, infrastructure code and operations can then diverge. This review helps technical leaders make the next decisions with a shared view of the current state and its constraints.

02 · What you get

Defined technical outcomes

  • A concise current-state architecture summary based on the agreed evidence and access.
  • A prioritized findings register covering architecture, identity, networking, governance, delivery, operations and cost visibility.
  • An architecture decision log with options, trade-offs, dependencies and open questions.
  • A remediation roadmap and technical readout for the stakeholders responsible for next steps.

03 · Scope of work

Work included

  • Review the agreed cloud organization and account, project or subscription boundaries, including workload ownership and environment separation.
  • Assess identity and role assignments, network connectivity and DNS, policy and security controls, and shared platform services.
  • Review available Terraform or provider-specific IaC repositories (such as Bicep or CloudFormation), deployment workflows, operational telemetry and cost ownership practices.
  • Validate observations with the named technical owners and map findings to practical decisions and follow-up work.

04 · Acceptance

How completion is reviewed

Final acceptance checks are agreed in the statement of work before implementation. Typical checks include:

  • Findings refer to the evidence reviewed and describe impact and priority in plain language.
  • The roadmap identifies dependencies and a recommended order; it does not presume every finding must be implemented.
  • A readout is held with the agreed stakeholders and questions or decision points are recorded.

05 · Delivery process

From discovery to handover

  1. DiscoverConfirm the target users, workload boundary, dependencies and acceptance conditions.
  2. DesignAgree the architecture decisions, delivery sequence, access model and implementation plan.
  3. Build and validateImplement the scoped work in the client environment and review it against the agreed checks.
  4. Hand overTransfer code, documentation, runbooks and ownership to the client team.

06 · Technical foundation

Tools and architecture

Cloud architecture and landing-zone patterns across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud; organization, account, project and subscription structures; identity and role assignments; native governance controls; network and DNS architecture; Terraform and provider-specific infrastructure tools; delivery workflows, monitoring and cost management.
